Historically, class actions have provided a means of bringing suit on behalf of a large number of individuals who are harmed when corporations engage in wrongful behavior.  In recent days of tort reform…from CAFA to Proposition 64…restrictions on class actions have rendered legitimate claims more difficult to pursue against big business.  Our firm's speakers will address how best to litigate class actions in today’s restrictive climate, with the defense bar providing thoughts on the future of class action litigation.

The defense bar will be represented by our guest speaker, Robert Horn, an associate with Proskauer Rose, who specializes in class action litigation.

Every attendee will receive an extensive course handbook with the fundamentals of class action law, sample pleadings, motions and the supplement of recent cases.

The seminar is free and approved for 3 hours of MCLE credit.
