Sepulveda, et al. v. Wal-Mart
This lawsuit alleges that Wal-Mart improperly fails to pay its Assistant Managers overtime compensation for the overtime hours they work. As a putative class action, this lawsuit covers everyone who has worked as a Wal-Mart Assistant Manager in California since January 2000. The lawsuit also demands that Wal-Mart change its compensation policies, so that Assistant Managers will be paid overtime compensation in the future. The firm has filed its motion to certify the class and is awaiting the Court's ruling.
