Moreno, et al. v. Miller Brands, Inc., et al.
Mr. Moreno retained The Quisenberry Law Firm to help him recoup monies owed to him for overtime hours that he worked. Mr. Moreno was a salaried sales representative for Miller Brands, which became Classic Distributing and Beverage Group, Inc. His main duties were to deliver Miller products to stores assigned to his route and to set up the product in the display cases. His sales opportunities were limited, and the complaint we filed alleged that he was misclassified as an outside sales person and exempt from the overtime laws. We were able to settle this lawsuit for $1.35 million, allowing Mr. Moreno and other sales representatives to be compensated for the long hours that they worked.
